9. Forest bottle-ball

Description: As childern are the ones who will take care of the environment in the future, teaching them to take care of it should start at a very young age. This activity gave an insight into the JSC “Latvia’s State Forests” organized forest education programme for kindergartens – Pigman’s detectives.

There were several tasks that are simple yet efficient at showing the effects of littering in the forest. How about a pop-quiz on how well do you think you know the forest life cycle? An attention-play of who will find all the things that shouldn’t lay on the forest floor first? Or perhaps a race of children’s beloved bottle-ball – an engaging game using old plastic bottles!
