LVM has selected land units under its management and ownership, applying a number of restrictions and excluding areas not suitable for wind farms. The selection produced a map of Potential wind farm development areas in state forest lands, which spatially displays the land units owned and managed by LVM where it would be reasonable to carry out a wind farm development survey and allows one to identify the cadastral designation, municipality, county, and geographical location of the land units and parts thereof. The map is intended for use by potential bidders and provides publicly accessible information on the land units where it is reasonable to carry out a wind farm development survey on LVM lands.
