LVM Zemes dzīles is Developing New Mining Sites

LVM Zemes dzīles purposefully develops a network of mining sites in order to provide support to the national economy by offering high-quality mineral materials and their aggregates at new mining sites throughout Latvia.

This year, the company has opened four new mining sites: “Šmecene-2015”, “Mucenieki-LVM”, “Liepieni-LVM” and “Gulāni”; moreover, mineral materials for road construction, repairs, construction works, construction materials, as well as for own consumption are still available throughout the territory of Latvia.

Mineral materials and their aggregates are prepared in accordance with the requirements of road specifications set by LVM Meža infrastruktūra and JSC “Latvijas valsts ceļi”. During their production process, mineral materials are regularly tested for particle size distribution, filtration coefficient, percentage of crushed and broken particles, Los Angeles coefficient and other quality indicators. Prepared mineral materials and their mixtures are issued declarations of performance and CE markings in accordance with the quality assessment system “2+” or “4”.

“As the construction season continues, we can provide entrepreneurs with a significant availability of materials, reliable partners, as well as reasonable costs. We respond to the needs of our cooperation partners and offer certified mixtures of mineral materials to order, thus enabling entrepreneurs to ensure timely and high-quality work,” says Kārlis Volfs, LVM Zemes dzīles Production Manager.

Sand-gravel mixtures and fine materials of various fractions are available at LVM mining sites. By the end of the year, LVM intends to ensure the availability of manufactured mineral materials and their mixtures at as a minimum of 25 mining sites throughout the territory of Latvia.
