The most popular brands according to the public rating both in the Baltics and Latvia were honoured at the Latvian Brand Top awards ceremony. This year, JSC “Latvia's State Forests” (LVM) received the highest score in three categories: the greenest brand, the most humane brand and the employer's brand.
For the third year in a row, LVM has managed to convincingly maintain its leading position as the greenest brand in Latvia, where members of the public value the brand's “greenliness” or environmental friendliness. “Madara” and “Seal” ranked accordingly second and third in the top of Latvia's greenest brands.
LVM ranks first in the category of the most humane brand, beating the Road Traffic Inspectorate and JSC “Latvenergo”.
The employer's brand was presented for the first time this year, based on a study by top-level recruitment company “Amrop”, which identifies employers with the best reputation, thus attracting employees with appropriate qualifications, experience and skills. Knowledge assessment, self-confidence building, decision-making, value system and employer gratitude are increasingly important aspects among knowledgeable professionals and managers. “Latvenergo” and technology company “Accenture” took the second and third place, accordingly.
“I would like to express my gratitude to people in Latvia for this high triple rating. It is a recognition for the Latvian forest industry as a whole and a dedication to our country's forests. The global pandemic made people change their habits, their ordinary routines, and we are confident – also their understanding about what and how is being done in the field of forest management in Latvia. Forest became a haven and a source of peace, it became the most popular place to spend free time, uniting families in the fresh air. Forest also provides stable jobs for our people, who want and know the tasks and requirements of their work. It is not only a great satisfaction and joy for us – the Latvia’s state forest team, but also a great responsibility to continue forest management, planting and tending works in accordance with the highest European and global standards. Foresters think in the long-term, and people in Latvia can be sure that in the future state forests will be green, well-tended, productive and every one will be a welcome guest in the forest,” says Edvīns Zakovics, Vice President LVM Corporate Relations.
The top brand awards ceremony took place for the sixteenth time, and for the second time – at the Baltic level. The top allows companies to gain an insight into the public rating and find out how their brand is perceived. Brands were evaluated in seven categories: favourite brands, greenest brands, most humane brands, highest quality brands, employer brands, most popular media brands and growing brands.
The brand top is made by such companies as “NORD DDB”, “OMD” and “RAIT” in cooperation with “IR Nauda”, “DELFI”, “TV3 Group”, “JCDecaux”, “Eco Baltia”, “Accenture”, “Httpool” and “Amrop”.
