LVM Holds Meetings for Interested Suppliers

Within the framework of the tender “Provision of Forest Restoration, Tending and Protection Services in 2021–2023” announced by JSC “Latvia's State Forests” (LVM), the company holds meetings for interested suppliers in LVM regions to explain the tender rules and provide support in drawing up tender proposals, as well as to answer any questions.

These meetings are intended for both existing cooperation partners and interested contractors with or without experience in forestry work.

  • 4 September at 11.00 Ziemeļkurzeme Region Customer Centre (1 Parka Street, Dundaga Rural Territory, Dundaga Municipality)
  • 7 September at 11.00 Dienvidkurzeme region (2 Pils gatve, Kazdanga, Aizpute Municipality)
  • 8 September at 11.00 Rietumvidzeme Region Customer Centre (2 Vanagu Street, Valmiermuiža, Valmiera Rural Territory, Burtnieki Municipality)
  • 8 September at 11.00 Dienvidlatgale Region Customer Centre (2 Fabrikas street, Līvani, Līvāni Municipality)

Proposals for the tender should be submitted in the Electronic Procurement System (EIS) by 22 September; 12.00.

Interested contractors are offered to enter into a contract for one or three years for forestry works in a total area of 94 325 hectares. It is planned to perform six types of forestry works within the framework of the tender: forest planting in an area of 7 950 ha; replenishment of regenerated forest areas in an area of 2 410 ha; agro-technical tending of restored forest areas in an area of 26 985 ha; tending of young stands in an area of 30 445 ha; protection of restored forest areas in an area of 17 620 ha; protection of young trunks in an area of 8 915 ha.
