“At the entrance to the quarry territory, a gate must be set up in order to separate the territory from the entry of unauthorized persons into the high-risk area, as well as to prevent any illegal extraction of mineral materials. Gates to the mining site are equipped with reflective elements so that they are visible both during daytime and in the dark hours and do not pose danger to drivers. There are information signs set up on all quarry territories reminding visitors to observe safety measures while in the quarry territory,” tells Kārlis Volfs, Production Manager of LVM Zemes dzīles.
