Enjoying the Vibes of Early Spring, LVM Embassy in Āraiši to Host a Conversation about Seedlings

The sunny days suggest that spring is just around the corner. And it is the right time to think about our upcoming works that we will have to do very soon. Therefore, already on 20 February, Latvia's State Forests Embassy in Āraiši will host an event called “Plant the Spring!” (Iestādi pavasari!) where everyone interested will have an opportunity to draw inspiration and get some valuable expert advice.

The conversation will be led by experts in matters related to seedlings and plants - Jānis Zvejnieks, Head of LVM Strenči Nursery, and Baiba Miķe, LVM Seedling Specialist.

Visitors will have an opportunity to get acquainted with the offer at the nurseries of JSC “Latvia's State Forests” and current issues in the field of ornamental plants, as well as get tips on how to restore forest in a manner that is both sustainable and of good quality.

“This year has been very unusual in terms of whether, and people are already asking for seedlings. However, we need to be cautious, since there can still be some frost. I will take this opportunity to tell about the origins, regions, types and quality standards of our seedlings, as well as give other useful and up-to-date information,” tells Jānis Zvejnieks, Head of LVM Strenči Nursery.
