As part of the winter solstice season, an exhibition called “Winter.Tree.Spruce”, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Baltic Way was hosted at the Embassy of Latvia’s State Forests; the exhibition was organised in cooperation with the Latvian Florist Association. The works made by Latvian, Lithuanian and Estonian artists were displayed until 5 December.
The more than 30 works reveal the authors' interpretation of the winter tree. It is not necessarily green, grown in a forest or in a pot.
From 6 to 14 December, the works of the exhibition will be on view in Klaipeda (I.Kanto Viešoji Library), and then they will travel to Tartu (the Estonian National Museum), where visitors will have an opportunity to enjoy the exhibition from 15 December to 6 January.
