Advent Wreath Workshop with LVM Kalsnava Arboretum

The first candle flame in the Advent wreath will soon be lit in anticipation of the most wonderful time of the year - Christmas. On 27 November, the Embassy of Latvia’s State Forests will host a creative festive workshop in cooperation with LVM Kalsnava Arboretum where everyone interested will have an opportunity to create their own unique Christmas decorations made from natural materials.

There will be wreath bases available at the workshop, made of osier wrapped in straw and jute string. There will be a choice of types of cones to decorate the wreaths, as well as a variety of natural materials such as tree seeds, wooden slats, bark and other materials as well as hot glue guns. If you want to use your own design elements, add candles or anything else, take it all along to the festive workshop.

Already in November, slowly getting into the holiday mood, Christmas feeling is entering the Embassy of Latvia’s State Forests: festive decorations made from natural materials, cone balls and baskets, Advent wreaths and other decorations for everyone's home or holiday gift basket. As the Christmas time is approaching, more and more eco-decorations and potted Christmas trees grown in LVM nurseries are offered to customers.
