Mixtures of Mineral Materials are Available at 14 LVM Mining Sites
JSC “Latvia's State Forests” (LVM) manages more than 100 mineral extraction sites located throughout the territory of Latvia. A variety of minerals and their mixtures are available at a number of mineral extraction sites. The offer includes both natural sediment minerals and mixtures or aggregates of minerals.
Certified mixtures of mineral materials are offered for use in road construction, repair, construction and production of building materials as well as for self-consumption. The most widely available mixtures available at the quarries are crushed sand - gravel mixtures, for example 0/32s, prepared in accordance with the general requirements for the performance and quality of work on the state road network of SJSC “Latvian State Roads” according to the road load requirements “Road Specifications 2019”. Other types of sand-gravel mixtures and siftings of different fractions are also available.
At the mining sites managed by LVM, the production process of mineral materials and their mixtures is certified and complies with the “2+” and “4” system of regulated products in accordance with the following standards:
The certificate is a testimony to the fact that the manufacturing process of mineral materials and their mixtures complies with internationally recognised standards, which gives LVM partners access to high quality mineral materials and their mixtures. The controlled production process from extraction to the finished mixture ensures the traceability of the origin and quality of the mineral materials and their mixtures. This is evidenced by the declaration of performance and the CE marking, which are particularly important in the market for construction products.
