Welcome to the Embassy of JSC “Latvia's State Forests”!

lvm vestnieciba

For the third year already, the Embassy of Latvia's State Forests has been welcoming visitors at JSC “Latvia’s State Forests” (LVM) Riga Customer Centre. It is a place for a dialogue between man and forest, finding answers to various questions, and bringing a small piece of forest home with you. It is also a great place to meet friends and like-minded people visiting one of the events devoted to forest and garden that take place regularly at the Embassy.

There is a sample plot near the Embassy where you will find the seedlings that you need, which will fit perfectly in any garden, veranda or house. If you do not find what you are looking for at once, embassy consultants from the nearby LVM nursery, where plants well-suited to Latvia's climatic conditions and soil are grown will be more than happy to help you.

If you wish to be a little closer to nature, but the large number of recreation areas seems confusing, the Embassy has information and advice on LVM managed recreation sites and lakes. Active recreation with children in LVM Nature Park in Tērvete, walks in the magnificent Kalsnava Arboretum, a visit to the Forestry Museum in the historic Jaunmokas Palace or fishing in one of the lakes? Just make up your mind and hit the road!

If you are interested in bringing forest to your home not only in the form of seedlings, the Embassy also has a variety of design and everyday items. They range from clay plates and mugs to linen towels and beautiful umbrellas. Educational wooden toys and games can also be purchased at the Embassy, even a toy that looks just like Pigman.
