July is the central month of summer, when harvesters, along with the first raspberries, can be spotted in clearings. However, raspberry lovers are not the only ones to enjoy the harvest time – cherry-pickers can find raspberries in 40-70 years old forests, while the most attentive will find the first cloudberries in bogs and marshes.
Sparrowhawks choose young forests stands for making their nests. These birds are busy now – they have to take care of their babies. In turn, roes are having mating time, therefore their cries can often be heard in forests.
