A Tender for Social Projects for 2018 is Now Open for Applications

Already for the seventh year, public benefit associations and foundations are invited to apply social projects for the receipt of a donation granted by JSC "Latvia's State Forests" (LVM). Project proposals should be submitted before 31 January 2018.

EUR 300 000 are available for the tender in the following areas of priority:

Maximum project implementation period: from 1 March to 31 December 2018. One organisation and its unit may submit one project application. Project applications should be submitted on the website nvo.ziedot.lv from 4 January 2018 to 31 January 2018 (inclusive).

The assessment criteria and other additional information are available on the website of the foundation "Ziedot.lv": www.ziedot.lv.

The project applications will be assessed and the results will be announced by 1 March 2018.

JSC "Latvia's State Forests" donation to the social sector

Since 2012, JSC "Latvia's State Forests" has entrusted management of the company's donations to the social sector to three charity organisations: "Ziedot.lv", "Latvia Children's Fund" and "Samaritan Association of Latvia". These organisations manage donations and allocate funds to social organisations by arranging a tender procedure.

The procedure, how JSC "Latvia's State Forests" grants donations to the social sector, is laid down in the letter of intent signed on 12 December 2011 and the annual donation agreements entered into between the company and the Partners (foundation "Ziedot", foundation "Latvian Children's Fund" and the association "Samaritan Association of Latvia").
