LVM GEO Platform developed by JSC "Latvia's State Forests" has been ranked second in the category "Innovative Product" of the Export and Innovation Awards 2017 organised by the Latvian Investment and Development Agency (LIAA) in cooperation with the Ministry of Economics.

LVM GEO Platform is a collection of products and services developed by the Geospatial Information Technologies business unit of LVM, designed for working with geospatial data in web browsers and mobile applications. The platform, which was originally developed for the company's internal needs and has been supporting the company's business processes for many years, is now offered to any company or organisation. The platform provides an opportunity for managers and owners to manage their land and resources in a much more transparent, efficient and sustainable way.
Already for the thirteenth year, the Investment and Development Agency of Latvia (LIAA) and the Ministry of Economics hold the annual Export and Innovation Awards. The goal of the awards is to promote competitiveness of companies in local and foreign markets, to foster growth in the quality and quantity of exports, to generate products with high added value, and to further innovation by evaluating results and identifying successful partnerships and products.
