Environmentally friendly lifestyle and healthy recreation opportunities are highly valued today. JSC "Latvia's State Forests" (LVM) Recreation and Tourism Centre "Ezernieki", a beloved tourist destination among families with children and nature lovers who appreciate the magnificent landscapes of Lubāna Municipality, this year received the Green Certificate, which was presented by President Raimonds Vējonis. It is a special eco-label awarded for rational and environmentally friendly management.

“Recreation and Tourism Centre "Ezernieki" can be proud of this eco-label already since 2011. We are very happy that this year we received the Certificate; we take care that families with children, people with reduced mobility, nature lovers and active recreation enthusiasts would all be feeling good, enjoying the nature. Such Certificate is part of high customer service culture, which includes environmentally friendly and sustainable management," says Egils Ozols, Director of LVM Recreation and Hunting.

Recreation and Tourism Centre "Ezernieki" has a well-lit place for setting up a tent, football, basketball and volleyball courts, as well as swimming sites. Active recreation enthusiasts can hold sports games and engage in other activities in the open air. But for the cold winter evenings, there is always an opportunity to warm up enjoying the pleasures of sauna.
