In order to prove that science is an exciting and prospective branch for future workers, JSC "Latvian State Forests" offers students from grades eight to eleven to study, experiment, and explore at the Young Natural Scientists and Mathematicians School Festival, titled "Daba un zinatne – aizraujosi!" (Nature and Science – Exciting!) that will take place on October 3, at the new Academic Center for Natural Sciences of the University of Latvia in Riga's Tornakalns suburb.

In cooperation with the Academic Center for Natural Sciences and Mathematics of the University of Latvia, schools for young biologists, physicists, geographers, and chemists, Environment Academy, and Minor University of Mathematics, the festival's participants will be provided with interesting and challenging workshops, where they will study, experiment, and solve unconventional tasks, together with peers from all over Latvia. Furthermore, students will be able to find out how learning is at the most modern studies facility in the Baltic States – the new LU Academic Center for Natural Sciences.

From now on, classes will take place once a month individually at each of the "New Schools" in specific succession, offering a number of activities: competitions, lectures, practical lessons in a laboratory and outdoors, as well as experiments and studies.
