Mammadaba Embassy to open doors during Riga City Festival

Mammadaba Embassy, in the creative information space “Esplanāde 2014”, will be open to all enthusiasts August 16-18, offering one to learn more about various recreational opportunities in Latvia’s state forests and participate in activities organised by Mammadaba. Mammadaba Embassy will be open from 12 noon until 8 p.m. during the Riga City Festival and all activities will be free of charge.

Planned activities:

August 16: 8 p.m. The opening of the Embassy and a musical surprise by the band “Sus Dungo”.

August 16: 2:30 p.m. – 4 p.m. Facts of Nature cinema hosted by Mammadaba friends Māris Olte and Māris Maskalāns. Behind the scenes of environmental documentaries.

August 17: 12 noon - 2:30 p.m. The Mammadaba School of Birds for families with children. Making birdhouses together.

August 18: 12 noon – 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. – 5 p.m. Cūkmens’ School for families with children. “Today’s Nuisance is Tomorrow’s Peril!” Activities with Cūkmens, LVM’s protector of clean forests.

This is not the first time that Mammadaba steps out onto the streets of Rīga. The Embassy invites all residents and guests to head out for nature and enjoy wonderful recreation in Latvia’s state forests.
