One day is not enough to experience everything that the park has to offer its visitors, both young and old. Paths and trails wind through the park, leading to a true kingdom of fairy tales. The park can be traversed on foot or by bicycle. Families with prams and pushchairs will also find it easy to access the sights. There is no need to worry if you have grown tired of walking; there is a special Fairytale Train in the park.
“We improve Tērvete Nature Park each year. The Playground has been complemented with new wooden sculptures for active recreation. The Adventure Castle stands next to it. Delicious meals can be enjoyed in “Lutauša galds” café. There is also a settlement in the Forest of Dwarfs, where the father of dwarfs will be proud to show his carpentry tools and the mother of dwarfs will tell children about the habits, whims and pranks of dwarfs. If you are hungry, you can purchase delicious snack foods in “Bodīte”. If you want a bird’s eye view of the park, you are welcome to climb the park’s 39-meter wooden observation tower,” as Tērvete Nature Park Information Centre head Laura Zalcmane informs.
