On Tuesday, April 30, Tērvete Nature Park, managed by JSC “Latvia’s State Forests”, will host the annual Fairytale Night Festival or Walpurgis Night.
Te rūķi gaidīs mazos delverus jau no plkst. 19.
The mysterious and merry pine forest witches will welcome the enthusiasts of the candle-lit night-time forest, and the mischievous Little Devil will help peer into the future. The nearby Playground will feature special performances from Latvian Academy of Culture Choreography Department students. The Theatre of Shadows and the Fiery Guy will bring out unique emotions in the night-time forest, while ethno-percussion artists “Afro Ambient” will perform unforgettable sound vibrations.
The festival’s highlight – a special light show – will begin at 10:50 p.m.
Visitors are invited to wear interesting costumes, bring pocket flashlights, and, of course, a good mood. The most creative and interesting masks will receive prizes. The Fairytale Choo-choo Train will be running until midnight.
