Meet trees on museum night!
The evening of May 19, when a multitude of museum will be open all over Latvia for the Night of Museums, the exhibition “Meet A Tree!” will open at the Mežaparks Stage (Mežaparka estrāde) complex.The exhibition will feature various exciting side attractions as well as events for children involving the Forest Lady, the Little Witch and other creatures that live in Tērvete Fairy Tale Forest. All visitors will be offered to sign the guestbook by participating in making a wicker quilt. Hot herbal tea will keep the cold of the spring night at bay, while the most active participants will be offered a forest karaoke.
Visitors to the exhibition “Meet A Tree!” will be able to reach the venue by car, by entering the Mežaparks area from Viestura prospects Street, or by bicycle (visitors will be offered a parking stand for bicycles along the entire fence), whereas visitors who plan to reach the Mežaparks Stage from the other side (Riga Zoo) will be offered a ride in the tourist train.
The exhibition will be free of charge every Saturday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., starting May 26 and continuing all the summer season.
