New Information and Education Centre inaugurated in the Tērvete Nature Park

This Centre will increase opportunities for recreation and environmental education at the largest site of Mammadaba – the Tērvete Nature Park, managed by AS Latvijas valsts meži. In the new building, the visitors will have access to detailed information on Tērvete’s sights, as well as on Zemgale and other regions.

In the souvenir shop located next to the ticket office, you can buy souvenirs to capture memories of the Tērvete Nature Park, such as the colourful book Sprīdītis designed by the artist of the Park Liāna Šulce, stickers of the Fairytale Forest and the document of the Forest King. Mammadaba offers ecological forest herb teas by the agricultural enterprise Rūķīši, as well as mugs and other handicrafts by Latvia’s manufacturers.

The Information Centre houses a café where you are welcome to enjoy hot meals and cold snacks.

The Information Centre of the Tērvete Nature Park is a perfect venue for seminars and conferences. There are 3 rooms equipped specifically for these needs.
