THE OFFICIAL CEREMONY OF AWARDING THE ANNUAL PRIZE OF THE FOREST SECTOR “THE GOLDEN CONE”

On January 25 at Riga House of Congresses the official awards ceremony of the Annual Prize “The Golden Cone” was held, it is the highest recognition for achievements in the forest sector.

The Annual Prize of the forest sector is awarded in four categories – “For Life Time Contribution”, “For Sustainable Management”, “For Innovative Entrepreneurship” and “For Contribution to the Education of the Public” and these were awarded by the highest officials of Latvia – Mārtiņš Roze, Raimonds Vējonis, Tatjana Koķe and others. The aim of the prize is to promote the development and the public significance of the forest sector.
