On May 4, Friday, the youth of Latvia together with LRMinister With Special Responsibility for the Administration of European Union Funds Normunds Broks, Minister of Environment Raimonds Vējonis, Minister of Agriculture Mārtiņš Roze, the Ambassador of Germany in Latvia Eberhard Schuppius, the Parliamentary Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ēriks Zunda and the bobsleigh sports representative Sandis Prūsis gather to plant 7,000 pine trees at the Klīve Department of Zemgale Forestry which is located nearby Ložmetējkalns. The activity is organised by the European Union Information Agency (ESIA) and AS Latvijas Valsts Meži on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Rome Treaty.
