A PIKE-PERCH WEIGHING 4.7 KG IS CAUGHT IN TĒRVETE (GULBJU) RESERVOIR

JSC ”Latvijas valsts meži” (“Latvian State Forests”) offers on the shores of all  lakes managed by the enterprise  a variety of opportunities for active recreation for both families and organisations – fishing and cooking fish stew right on the spot, and the opportunity to organise larger sports and leisure events. Fish population is in excellent condition and this is supported by good fishing results. On June 17th, 2006 at  6:30 am Vadim Romanov from Rigamanaged to catch with a ledger from the planked footway of guest house No. 5 on the Tērvete (Gulbju) Reservoir a 82.5 cm long and 4.7 kg pike-perch.
