"LVM FOREST INFRASTRUCTURE" BEGINS WORK

Starting from today the new JSC ”Latvijas valsts meži” structural division "LVM Forest Infrastructure" starts full operation, the main task of which is to ensure the construction process of forest infrastructure objects.

In 2006 it plans to carry out reconstruction and construction works of 710 km of forest roads, but already in 2007 this amount will increase by 80 km and will constitute a total of 790 km.

The new structural division has already announced the first tenders for construction of forest roads.

The LVM homepage has a special division in which businesses, by filling in the registration form, can receive the tender dossier of "LVM Forest Infrastructure". All registered persons will receive information on changes in the tender dossiers in due time, as registration in the internet is equal to registration carried out when receiving a hard copy of tender dossier.
