“Latvia’s State Forests” - Latvia’s greenest brand of 2024

On the 20th of September, during the “Baltic Brand Forum” in Riga, the most loved, greenest, humane, entertaining, and fastest-growing companies in the Baltics were announced. The brands were chosen based on the society’s opinion. JSC “Latvia’s State Forests” (LVM) retains its leader position as the greenest brand in Latvia for the seventh year already and is the second most humane brand in Latvia.

“Every LVM employee and Latvia’s inhabitant can be proud that already for 25 years state forests are responsibly and sustainably managed, simultaneously strengthening the economy and various society’s interests. This year’s greenest brand award and the second place recognition for being a humane brand confirms that society highly values our everyday work. We are grateful for that and we will responsibly continue to contribute to a flourishing Latvia,” Tomass Kotovičs, LVM Communication department manager, reveals.

Other brands included in Latvia’s greenest brands list are “Madara”, “Seal”, “Ikea”, and “Humana”, but Latvia’s most humane brand is “Swedbank”.

In 2024, the “Baltic Brand Forum” took place for the 20th time, gathering international industry leaders and organizing panel discussions on the importance of humor in marketing.

“Brand Capital” at the moment is Latvia’s widest brand and lifestyle research. Its origins can be traced back to 2004 when the "Latvian Brand Ranking" was created, but since 2013 the study has also been conducted in Lithuania and Estonia. Ensuring the representativeness of the data, the study is conducted by "Norstat", one of the leading and largest market research data collectors in Europe.

In 2024, the Brand Capital study collected data on approximately 600 brands, surveying more than 3,000 residents of the Baltic States, who answered almost 300 questions about lifestyle and attitudes towards brands.
