The Latvian Forest Days – the most ambitious forest awareness event in the Baltic States – will take place in Latvia’s State Forests Nature Park in Tērvete on 24 and 25 May. Paying special attention to the question of whether our future lies in the trees, JSC “Latvia's State Forests” (LVM) invites cooperation partners to apply for participation in the event, the forest environment education festival, whose audience exceeds 14 000 visitors every year. Let's celebrate the Latvian Forest Days together again this year!
“This year, we have thought about both the novelties in the visual design of the Latvian Forest Days and the choice of workshop locations. Let's go even deeper into the forest and see how Tērvete managed to live with the consequences of last year's storm. In this context, a special topic at the event will be climate change and the challenges it poses, which are becoming more and more relevant for everyone who cares about the forest,” says Līga Abizāre, LVM Environmental Education Manager.
We encourage every forest and wood industry company, educational institution, public organization and other enthusiasts to participate in this event with their forest information stand. To apply for participation in the event, you should fill out the electronic application form by 1 March.
