LVM Mineral Materials are Used for the Construction of the Ķekava Bypass

When the construction is actively underway, the availability of materials, as well as reliable and predictable cooperation partners, play an important role in the construction of the facility. LVM mineral materials are used for one of the most ambitious construction facilities of the moment – the Ķekava bypass road.

Until now, LVM Zemes dzīles has already provided more than 345 thousand m3 of sand and soil for the construction of the Ķekava bypass, out of the total volume of 2.32 million m3 required for the construction of this facility. To ensure the compliance of mineral materials with the quality requirements set forth in the project, LVM Zemes dzīles complies with the production process control conditions set out in the harmonized standards of construction products, conducts regular material testing in an accredited laboratory of LVM Zemes dzīles and issues all the necessary documents certifying compliance. Mineral materials are delivered to the facility from the nearest LVM quarries: “Riekstu mežs”, “Ezeri-2” and “Gediņi-Zvirgzdes mežniecība 1979/1986”.
