JSC “Latvia's State Forests” Expands the Production of Mineral Materials

With the growing demand for mineral material mixtures, in January 2022, LVM Zemes dzīles established a second mobile production line, which provides an opportunity to perform production work on its own in two quarries simultaneously and to respond more quickly to customer needs.

“The production of mineral materials using our own resources allows us to be faster and more accurate. Following the requirements of a controlled production process in the “2+” system, which is certified at 50 mining sites managed by LVM, we produce mineral materials and their mixtures for the construction of forest roads and State roads in accordance with industry requirements and standards. Every year, we see a growing demand for mineral materials and their mixtures, the origin and quality of which have been confirmed by the manufacturer,” says Kārlis Volfs, Production Manager of LVM Zemes dzīles.

JSC “Latvia's State Forests” manages more than 100 mineral extraction sites in the whole territory of Latvia. At all mining sites, the extraction of mineral materials and the production process of their mixtures comply with the conditions of the regulated sphere of construction products and regulatory requirements, which guarantees customers that the extraction and processing of minerals is carried out responsibly and the products comply with industry requirements and standards.  All mining sites of LVM Zemes dzīles can be viewed on the website https://zemesdziles.lvm.lv/
